Tactical Gears

Posted by

Thinking of paintballing recently, it has gotten me into a mood for army gear, things like flashlights, armor clothing, tactical gear even. I was looking through Police Gear and found awesome tactical stuff like a tactical vest, pants, uniforms, footwear, jackets, and a cool tactical belt. If you are in to these things, check it out. They offer free shipping for any two items, and free return shipping if you are unhappy.

Mother’s Day

Posted by

Mother’s day is coming up. The time to thank our mothers for raising us, bringing us her motherly wisdom, and learning from it. So how to celebrate it? And who to celebrate it with? Well of course your mother, and since it’s a day about family, its best to celebrate within the family, and maybe a few close friends. How? You could relieve her of her motherly duties for a day; clean, cook, whatever your mother does! Prepare her favorite meal, or go out somewhere she loves.

The Exam Crunch

Posted by

It is always amazing how much people hold off things until the very last end. Tax Return for one, though we have a few months, no one ever touches the forms until a few days before it is due; maybe even 30 minutes before! Similarly, exams…How we stall for studying and then pull an ‘all nighter’ the night before the exam to cram as much as we can. Of course our performance quality in the exam decreases greatly compared to if we had just studied regularly, but to catch up from the all nighter (or many of them) carries on for a few days after. Sure, it sounds smart to just study ahead, but do we ever listen to ourselves?

Seeking Help; Psychotherapy

Posted by

If you have difficulty dealing with a specific issue, whether it affects your life everyday, or you see it once in a while, it is important to seek help. Many think that by seeking professional help, we are ‘crazy’. But that’s not true at all, in fact it would make us a lot healthier as individuals to better understand ourselves. I’ve seen a psychologist in the past, and I could not say it was very helpful. Though for each person we have different approaches that is best for us, I’m looking into seeking psychotherapy as an alternative. What I’m interested in is through talking it out, understand myself and my problems, personality, and other things.

If you are in the area, try a psychotherapy Washington DC based psychotherapist Karen J. Osterle. She can offer help with anxiety, worry and stress, major and minor depression, and intimacy and relationship to name a few. Some topics already have appealed to me, stress, (minor) depression, intamacy, issues that I was dealing with in the past, but have little progression. Perhaps in the nearing future.
